Jeanett Tapia, DC, ACP
Dr. Tapia experienced NUCCA Care as a patient before she even graduated from chiropractic school. She quickly became an advocate for upper cervical chiropractic as she saw patient after patient helped. She learned several upper cervical techniques, but came back to NUCCA as it was life changing for her own personal health.
She completed the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers Program in 2018, and is a Diplomate Candidate in Upper Cervical Care through the International Chiropractic Association.
Her chiropractic doctorate is from Life Chiropractic College West, and she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and a Masters degree in Education. She draws on her prior career experience as a high school science teacher and working at the diet office at Alvarado hospital. She also leans on her pharmaceutical sales experience to better help patients with their health. Few things make her happier than a good book or a hike with her dog, Charlie.
Joselyn was born and raised in sunny San Diego and enjoys meeting new people. She loves chiropractic and continually learning more about upper cervical care, NUCCA Spinal Care, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, as well as health and wellness in general.
She loves working with patients and hearing how chiropractic has improved their quality of life. She strives to brighten up everyone’s day while providing the best customer service experience possible while managing the front desk. Her philosophy is to treat people as she would like to be treated offering patients the highest level of care.
Outside of work, she loves experiencing new cultures and food. She also loves to travel, appreciates all things related to design and fashion and listening to great music. Joselyn looks forward to meeting you, getting to know you and welcoming you to Intouch.
Kayla, who recently moved to San Diego from the Pacific Northwest, is loving this new city. You can find her and her husband enjoying a local coffee shop or soaking up the sun at the beach on their free time. She also enjoys a good book and cooking something up for family and friends.
Having partnered with a global NGO, Kayla spent six years traveling and working, mostly in the northwestern region of Cambodia. She loves learning about different cultures and finding beauty in all corners of the world.
She is passionate about personal health and well-being. She’s excited to be a part of the Intouch Chiropractic team and enjoys learning more and more, every day, about chiropractic care.
Intouch runs on integrity and compassion to provide high-quality care. We are in this to make a difference in the world by helping one patient at a time.
Intouch ChiropracticBy Savannah Dorris I am so thankful I found Intouch Chiropractic! They have been a blessing in many ways. Dr. Young's confidence in my body's ability to heal from the very beginning gave me hope, and I knew I was in the right place. Dr. Young is wonderful! He listens and makes you feel like what you're experiencing matters. He is the first doctor I have seen that uses the NUCCA method, and I have to say I'm a believer! At first, I was skeptical because he was so knowledgable about what I had been experiencing without me even telling him. It is obvious he understands how the body functions and how one little problem can cause a cascade of symptoms. I started seeing him for head aches and neck/back pain. I was also at the time experiencing symptoms of fatigue, depression, heart palpitations, and GI issues. After about 4 and a half months my head aches are gone, along with the other symptoms! Jocelyn, the office manager, is also amazing. They are family oriented, too, as my two little boys were welcome from day one. Now, my oldest knows the staff by name! The whole team is great, and I can't wait for my husband to start going soon. I would recommend Intouch Chiropractic!
