You may be suffering from Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD). The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is a workhorse. It’s used for chewing, swallowing, talking, breathing, smiling, or any time you move your mouth. The TMJ has hinge and sliding motions. This joint is covered with cartilage, and includes a shock-absorbing disk. To move the jaw, a group of four muscles work together to open and close the jaw. When the joint is inflamed or the muscles are tight, you can suffer from any of the symptoms mentioned above. This condition can be very debilitating and painful.
NUCCA helps end jaw pain in many cases. The underlying cause of the pain can be inflammation and soreness that can be due to poor posture, misalignment, grinding and clenching the teeth, stress, gum chewing, damage from arthritis, or damage from an injury.
