Avoid Knee Surgery

If you have knee pain, have difficulty walking because of an old injury, or think knee pain is simply a part of getting old…don’t lose hope! Knee pain is a condition that disables many people, but most people don’t know that it can be treated effectively without the use of medications or surgery. While some patients choose surgery right away, others suffer for years hoping that it will just go away. We meet many new patients that take daily medications to cope with their pain. However, pain killers only mask pain, while your condition gets worse.

Pain meds are not a long-term solution as they don’t cure a biomechanical problem. We help patients that have tried everything under the sun, including ice, heat, massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy and even knee surgery. Unfortunately, many of these patients still have their symptoms. Their quality of life continues to diminish and much time and energy is spent on managing their knee pain and symptoms. Our doctors have advanced training and provide knee pain relief to many knee pain sufferers. Our goal is to get you feeling better, and provide long-term relief.

Our advanced knee pain reduction technology is one-of-a-kind. This technology can help you feel better right after your very first treatment. Imagine walking better, without the use of a walker, cane or someone’s help. We are here to help you decrease your pain, increase your mobility, help you move better, decrease your stiffness, make it easier to get up and down, get out of chairs easier, and be able to move about with more ease.

Most of our patients report significant improvements right after their first session in just minutes. Our Knee Rehabilitation Program is comprised of four unique treatments, including a Class IV laser, which is designed to reduce pain and decrease inflammation. Imagine what you’d be able to do if you didn’t have knee pain?

Knee Pain Symptoms

The primary symptom of knee pain is persistent discomfort around the knee(s). You may also feel swelling or stiffness of the joints. Sometimes your knees will look red and feel warm to the touch. In severe cases, you may feel muscle weakness or instability. You may also hear or feel popping or crunching noise whenever you move your knee or stand up. In extreme cases, your knee may get locked up and you may be unable to straighten your leg. The severity and location of knee pain can vary. These are the most common knee pain signs and symptoms:

  • Redness and warm to the touch
  • Swelling and stiffness
  • Instability and weakness
  • Crunching and popping noises
  • Inability to fully straighten the knee

Knee Pain Treatment

Not all knee pain conditions are serious. However, many knee injuries and medical conditions, can lead to degenerative joint damage, increasing pain, and disability if left untreated. Having an injury to the knee, even a minor one, makes you more prone to similar injuries in the future. Our doctors help many patients rehabilitate their knees with a dual-pronged approach of in-clinic treatments and at-home protocols. This dual approach synergistically increases efficacy resulting in reduced pain and inflammation, and ultimately increased mobility and freedom.
