Natural Ways to Boost Your Immune System

Chiropractic is a great natural way that boosts the immune system! Getting your nervous system in line is going to help give your body the fighting chance it needs to ward off any threat. Other ways to boost your immune system include adding garlic, ginger tea, vitamin C, vitamin D, elderberry, and ginseng to  your diet. Your immune system is most active at night so make sure you are getting plenty of sleep. Drinking lots of water helps flush out all of the toxins for faster recovery. Cooking with cinnamon, turmeric and cayenne pepper can help relieve pain. Eat fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir and kim chi, and avoid refined sugar and dairy products. Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in water and drink slowly for detoxification.

It is not realistic to expect that you will never suffer from a cold and flu again. That would be like cleaning your house and expecting to never have to clean it again! In fact, there is no silver bullet that conquers the common cold or flu. However, there are definitely things that you can do to boost your immune system so you feel better and potentially avoid it all together in the first place.
